Firstly, 100mm silver foil-faced insulation was installed between the joists, leaving a 75mm airflow gap between the pitched roof and the flat roof. We installed Proctor Roofshield vapour permeable breathable felt with 25mm x 50mm yellow treated battens fixed into the 400mm centre joists. Finished with lifestyles handmade Ashbury multi mix clay eave, tile & Half’s and plain tiles. Ultimate dry ridge and Hip kit. Code 4 & 5 lead flashings complete around the abutment walls and chimney stacks.
