This project is a complete renovation of an old bar/nightclub on Poole high street being converted into apartments.
We done an initial inspection on the existing flat roof area on the main roof of the building. Due to the main roof being adjoined to the neighbouring roof in the middle and the neighbouring roof having been completed in felt bitumen, we went with a new warm roof and felt system for a complete join. The falls of the roof had already been created in the roof structure so we could install a flat insulation board and maintain the correct water flow. Here we covered the existing felt covering with a self-adhered vapour control layer, 140mm PIR insulation, Strata Base felt layer, Strata Pro M cap sheet felt system. The work also included outlet and lead work.
Later this year we will be working on the 3 x flat new build roofs with some mono-pitch roofing elements also involved.
