Ossemsley Manor House, New Forest

This manor house has a lot of history;

Used as a POW camp during the war and a base before D day as well as the Kray twins converting into a nightclub back in the day.

The client had water ingress on 2 levels, one being the spire of the tower. We completely stripped up the existing felt bitumen and plywood substrate. The revealed joists were rotten and were all also then replaced with new as well as extra structural bracing completed. We fixed new 18mm plywood before a 2 layer felt system (Strata Pro M). The lower roof area is ready for the new decking with a happy client.
