We gave the client several different options and different systems that suited the client, and that were, more importantly, cost-effective for them. Once all details were confirmed, the client agreed they would be insulating the extension from inside. The roof was completed with 18mm OSB plywood, and a 300mm lay board joining the pitch to the flat. A 50mm drip batten was installed on the outside perimeter to leave ample distance for when the fascia and gutter are installed. Evalon VSK single-ply membrane was fully adhered on to the ply substrate finished with a 100mm water check and 50mm drip detail.
