We had the pleasure of installing a warm roof on the new paddock bar at Salisbury Racecourse.
The ply substrate roof was built with a 1:40 fall with box gutter to meet all standard requirements. A polythene BBA certified loose-laid vapour control layer was installed for condensation purposes. Evatherm 150mm insulation was mechanically fixed to stop any potential wind uplift happening. Evalon self-adhered single-ply membrane was laid and all laps homogeneously welded. After drainage calculations were taken, 3x110mm vertical outlets were installed to take the volume of water coming off the cladded roof and newly installed membrane roof.
