Broadstone First School
During the summer 2024 we worked with Spetisbury Construction to install a new felt bitumen flat roof system as part of the school’s refurbishment works. The project consisted of an extension block being built into the existing school, installing a new insulated warm roof system.
Roof system installed – Plywood deck, Strata-Con bitumen vapour barrier, 150mm insulation, Strata-Base, Strata – Cap SBS felt system, GRP edge trim profiles.
Once the roof was installed, we also completed liquid waterproofing details on PV mounts, Cable sticks, ventilation terminals & pipework (SVP).
Due to the amount of work involved in this project, we had a strict timeframe in order to complete of all the required works, allowing for the trades inside to progress on schedule before the school holiday was over.
